Make yourself at home in one of Dallas’ oldest suburbs

Located just southwest of Downtown Dallas, Oak Cliff is one of Dallas' oldest but most up-and-coming suburbs.

Attractions and Things to do in Oak Cliff

  • Oak Cliff is home to the Texas Theatre, the location where Lee Harvey Oswald, the man suspected of killing President John F. Kennedy in 1963, was arrested. It still operates today as a theatre, complete with a bar, free parking and tours on request.
  • It’s also home to Bishop Arts District, a small shopping/entertainment district that was once full of warehouses. Today, the gentrified area boasts one-of-a-kind boutiques, unique cafes, chocolate shops, Indie restaurants and much more.
  • The area is also home to the Dallas Zoo, featuring more than 2,000 animals from over 400 species.
